Concept demo: nothing is sent or charged. On a real site this hands the drink to the cafe's own ordering system (Square, Toast and others) so payments go straight to the shop.

Quiet hours: best for laptops and calls Now

Typical pattern for this concept, not live data. A real site can show the shop's own busy hours.

The room

Floor plan of Low Hum Coffee A window bar with 6 stools along the front window, a long table with 8 seats in the middle, 4 armchairs in the back corner, 3 two-person tables along the side wall, and the counter with the pastry case by the door. Outlets are at every window stool and every long-table seat. FRONT WINDOW LONG TABLE ARMCHAIRS TWO-TOPS COUNTER & CASE DOOR
  • Window bar 6 stools, an outlet at each
  • Long table 8 seats, an outlet at each
  • Armchairs 4, no outlets, made for a book
  • Two-tops 3 tables for coffee with a friend

The laptop deal

  • Weekdays: laptops welcome anywhere, all day.
  • Weekends 9 AM to 1 PM: armchairs and two-tops are laptop-free so brunch folks get a seat. The window bar and long table stay open for work.
  • Wifi: free, password on your receipt, no sign-up page.
  • Calls: take them by the front window, please, not at the long table.

Regulars

What the long table says

  • I order on the walk over and my cortado is on the counter when I open the door. Still hot. That is the whole review.

    Priya S.

  • The only place near me where the outlets actually work and nobody gives you a look for staying past lunch.

    Marcus T.

  • Get there before ten for the cardamom bun. I have learned this the hard way. Twice.

    Elena R.

  • The pour-over guy will talk you through the beans if you ask, and leave you alone if you don't. Perfect.

    Dev K.
